Here's how you can allow guests to choose a specific area when making an online reservation on Guest page, website widget or direct reservations link.
Go to Admin panel -> Reservations -> Online reservations. Enable "Allow guests to choose seating area" toggle. Save changes.
That will allow your guests to choose one of your assigned floor plan areas while creating an online reservation:
