Adding guests to the blacklist

If you decide to add guests to a blacklist, they will be prevented from making online reservations. However, please keep in mind that hosts can add their reservations to the system.

This is how you can add a guest to the blacklist:

  • Go to Guestbook and find the guest that should be blacklisted

  • Click on three dots at the upper right corner and choose "Add to blacklist" option

  • This is what should appear next to the guest's name


In-house reservations

If the host still decides to add the reservation with details of the person who has been added to the blacklist, they will be able to see this

When you go back to the Reservations list, this is what shows up when a guest who has been added to the blacklist is added as a regular reservation


​Online reservations

Guests added to the blacklist won't be able to create an online reservation.

You can decide whether you wish for guests to be notified that they are on the blacklist.
If you choose this option, enable "Notify guests when they are added to the blacklist" in Admin panel -> Settings -> Guests.

However, if you don't wish for the guests making an online reservation to know that they have been added to the blacklist, disable the toggle in Admin panel -> Settings -> Guests.
