How to enable WhatsApp Business notifications in Hostme
Go to Admin panel -> Marketplace and click the Connect button.
Next, click the Three dots button -> Settings and add the dedicated phone number that will be used for Twilio communication purposes. If you'll be using shared Hostme SMS service (without registration), skip this step.

What are Utility messages?
These messages are used to communicate important information or updates that the guest expects or has opted in for. They are not meant to sell anything.
Examples:
Reservation notifications (Confirmation, cancelation, reminder, feedback template)
Waitlist notifications (Confirmation, called template)
Order notifications
They’re usually time-sensitive or critical information.
Can be sent outside the 24-hour customer-initiated messaging window (WhatsApp allows businesses to send certain pre-approved notifications even if the customer hasn’t messaged recently).
Often require template approval by WhatsApp before sending.
What are Marketing messages?
These messages are used to promote services, events or offers. The goal is to invite customers and drive engagement or interest in your business.
Examples:
Event invitations and announcements
Menu offers
Loyalty program promotions
Must be sent to customers who have opted in to receive promotional content.
Usually need to be sent within the 24-hour customer-initiated messaging window; otherwise, you need a template approved by WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is strict about spam, so promotional messages are regulated more strictly than Utility messages.
