To message a waitlist party:
Go to the Waitlist Panel and select the card of the party you want to contact
Click on "Show Chat"
Enter the text in the pop-up window.
You can also access this chat feature on the Table Management Panel by selecting the party in the list on the right and select "Show Chat".
